Blueberry Pie Filling

By: ASHESP at with additional comments from Michelle below.

  • Purchase at least 23 ounces of blueberries for 4 cups worth.
  • If the blueberries are a little wet, you will be able to coat them more easily with the filling mixture.
  • Make sure to cut the butter and dot around the top of the blueberry pie filling BEFORE you put the crust on top. I forgot to do this once or twice…
  • You can see in my video, if you subscribed, that I had various crust styles. The lattice style is pretty and simple and I recommend it.
  • Make sure to cover the crust edges with foil before baking. This will prevent the edges from burning!
  • Go to for the Sacred Heart cookie cutter.
